Thanks for visiting Storehouse Tea Company- here’s our story.

We are part of the 76 million baby boomers who want to stay healthy and live longer. A few years ago, we took that old coffee maker off the counter and replaced it with a beautiful functional infuser teapot. At first we both missed the caffeine addiction buzz, but we didn’t miss the jittery, anxious feeling we got when we drank it and the headaches and crabbiness if we didn’t. My husband, Dan, feels his health and overall wellbeing has increased and he has more continuous energy. I believe coffee caused me repeated kidney stones, headaches, bloating and fibroids.

Dan and I have left our coffee addiction behind and have fully embraced tea drinking as a lifestyle choice, and what a difference it has made in our lives. Tea is the perfect combination of a natural stimulant and a natural relaxant. Our coffee habit has been replaced by fine, aromatic, beautiful, life giving loose leaf teas. We like how drinking organic teas makes us feel, and find the variety of teas as fascinating as fine wine. Now, we could never go back to drinking the bland, nutrient dissipated store bought tea bags that we once thought was our only alternative.

So with this new passion we've decided to spread the gospel of high quality “Fair Trade”, organic loose-leaf teas, making them available to as many people as possible by turning our passion into a business.

When we were formulating our business we felt that since tea is a natural product, we might as well make it organic, fresh, and delicious. We also liked the fact that there are no carbohydrates, no calories, no fats, no sugars, no artificial colorings, no preservatives or pesticides in organic tea.

Our vision for Storehouse Tea Company is to be ethical and socially conscious as well. So providing Certified Organic tea was only the beginning. We feel our customers want to be sure that people in underdeveloped countries are being paid a reasonable price that allows them to lift themselves and their families out of poverty. Fair Trade suppliers guarantee to pay above-market prices to Third World farmers to ensure that workers are treated ethically and fairly, and that their working conditions are as good as possible.

We named our company Storehouse Tea Company because the word “storehouse” has great significance to God’s people, because he promises to bless those that keep his commands. He promises to” fill your storehouses” and “bless all the work of your hands” because of your loving obedience (Deuteronomy 28:12-13). We hope that you find our high quality, organic teas to be fresh and delicious and our tea wares beautifully designed, functional yet affordable.

Many blessings to you from Storehouse Tea Company!
